I was taged ages ago for this meme by Flubberwinkle and recently by Buruburu so here it goes:

Do you like the look and contents of your blog?

Well it is not bad, I recently have made an extreme blog makeover- like a mini lifting- in the appearance of my blog and I am feeling much better because –to tell you the truth-I didn’t like the appearance of the last one (it was too pink and as I am quite juicy I felt like Miss Piggy)!

Does your family know about your blog?

Yes they do, actually my brother has his own blog so it runs into the family!

Can you tell your friends about your blog? Do you consider it a private thing?

I've told all my friends about my blog. As a matter of fact I’ve sent e-mail to all, and in MSN I’ve put my blog –address but I think my friends are not so much into it.

Do you read the blogs of those who comment on your blog? Or do you try and discover new blogs?

If someone leaves a comment on my blog I check out theirs. I think we all do this. The most common method of discovering a new blog is through the links on blogs I read. I trust their taste!

Did your blog positively affect your mind? Give an example...

Since blogs combine the immediacy of up-to-the minute posts, the sense of the author’s personality as well as his/her’s point of view they could be considered as an effective tool of personal communication, which could affect one’s mind. It’s nice reading about the experiences of other people. For me blogging is a way of working out my own issues (like Flubberwinkle says it’s cheaper than therapy), thinking by writing (in all languages, it’s so fun) and interacting with people that under other circumstances I wouldn’t.

What does the number of visitors to your blog mean? Do you have a traffic counter?

I have a stat counter. I don't pay much attention to the numbers. What interests me more is the geographical distribution of the visitors. It's quite interesting discovering that people from all over the world are checking out your blog. Not to mention, the Google searches that are so funny.

Do you imagine what other bloggers look like?

Helloo!!! Of course I do, tell me one that doesn’t! As a matter of fact, I would like to meet face to face my favourite bloggers! I should organize a blogger meeting!

Do you think blogging has any real benefits?

Well yes: meeting people, getting lots of unsolicited (and sometimes solicited) advices, documenting one’s life, working out your own issues, advancing the writerly craft are some of them. It's fun.

Now that I am thinking, since I am looking for a job, I could make an experiment and find out if I could find one, through blogging!!!

Do you think that the blogosphere is a stand alone world community separated from the real world?

Not really. Given the fact that blogging concerns real people with real issues and real problems it can’t be considered as a separated community, it interrelates to real world.

Do some political blogs scare you? Do you avoid them?

I think that a political blog could be considered as a form of democratic self-expression, so in this context they don’t scare me. However, I avoid reading political blogs that have no arguments.

Do you think that criticizing your blog is useful?

Actually no! I can only please one person a day and since I am writing for my personal pleasure it's obvious that today’s my day!

Have you ever thought about what would happen to your blog if you died?

U must be joking?!? Of course not!! Do you?

Which blogger has had the greatest impression on you?

I cannot really say. All the blogs that I read when I have time -I would like to read more- impress me for different reasons. For instance, I like the stories-fairy tails of Attalanti (I think she should publish them), I like Buruburu’s perspective and way of seeing things, I like the witty and humours style of Aenaos, I like the constructive criticism of Heliotypon to the Greek society as well as the creative writing of supermom Flubberwinkle. I occasionally visit US.TV to read comments about my favourite US TV series. I hope to discover in future more blogs like the ones I‘ve just mentioned

Which blogger do you think is the most similar to you?

I can't make up my mind .Shame on me!

Name a song you want to listen too.

Right now I am listening to Nelly Furtado’s new CD, so I would say “Promiscuous girl”.

Tag some people.

Aenaos, Attalanti, Heliotypon and whoever has the time to do so.
